The Final Push!

All,

I'm pleased to confirm Heathers final big push is well under way! She's departed Advanced Base Camp today to start the long arduous climb to reach the top of the world... If all goes to plan she will summit on the 26th of May.
An outline of her schedule for the next few days is as follows:

23rd - North Col (7100m)
24th - Camp 2 (7800m)
25th - Camp 3 (8400m) - set off for summit at 9pm
26th - Summit at 9am (8848m) (12 hrs ascent, 6 hrs descent)

I hope to have further exciting news on her progress for you soon... so watch this space!
